Hello, All!
Only 9 more days and spring will officially be here and it is coming in with the force of the lion right now. ‘Mother Nature’ is in cleaning mode.
Monday and Tuesday it rained melting much of the snow and leaving big puddles and mud everywhere. Since about 7:30 this morning the winds have been blowing non stop. It is so strong that one could be blown to their destination. ![]()
The sky is filled with a spectacular display of clouds. You may recall I love clouds.
At work I clocked in more hours this month then I am allowed so I got the day off. And a beautiful day for it too. So what do you think we did this morning? Yup, we went an flew a kite!

DH took a little movie of the event because the seagulls, who love to soar in the winds, felt the kite was invading their space and tried to attack it.
The geese on the other hand decided they wanted no part of it and left.

Standing out in that wind was mighty chilling especially so early in the morning and off the lake so we didn’t stay too long. We finaly arrived back home at 9 am and I was so glad we did.
After grabbing a quick bite to eat I checked out the TMN guide to see what was on. I wanted to bundle up in my quilt and watch a good movie. And thank goodness I checked too.
I love music that reaches inside of me and rips out the very core. I don’t know if specific music does this to many people but, depending on the piece, it can bring tears to my eyes, I feel it so profoundly. Strange, I know but I can not watch the ending of the Da Vinci Code without shedding a tear. I can not listen to Queen’s Bohemian Rhapsody without it invading my mind.
Well the score to do it to me today was from the movie August Rush. It was my first time watching it and I will watch it over and over again till it’s no longer on TMN. Of cource I will go out and buy the video too. And not because it has a fantastic cast and storyline, because it does. But simply because the composer is none other then the infamous Mark Mancina. A man who truly moves my soul.
