A few family members wanted to turn their photos into paintings to add to their scrap book pages. It’s a fairly easy process if you have a few of the right plugins to work with.
Here is an example:
Always work on a copy of the original. Crop the photo and resize it to the size you plan to print. It just makes it easier to work with and most photos will turn out right. To big of a photo and you may lose the effect.
The plugin effects I used on this one are Artistic Paint Daubs and Texture Canvas.
